To celebrate the latest book ‘ Prajna: Ayurvedic Rituals for Happiness ‘ of our &Sister collaborator Mira Manek, we are delighted that our Awaken The Heart retreat with Mischa Varmuza will have menus designed by Mira Manek and delivered by her dream team Lydia and Toma.
Mira will be attending the retreat and leading a workshop and meditation from her new book Prajna.
Guests on the retreat be invited to join Mira for an evening meditation with a nourishing cup of chai from new book Prajna: Ayurvedic Rituals for Happiness.
Prajna is the Sanskrit word for wisdom, and Mira’s new book brings the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda into your life by guiding you through simple practices for every day and every occasion from spices for daily life and digestive waters to deep stretches for releasing tightness and emotions and the power of the breath. All of this is interspersed with nuggets of Indian philosophy and passages of inspiration, bringing you back to yourself and infusing life with zest and happiness.
In her fire-side talk Mira will explain what Prajna has meant to her over the years, recommending rituals and routines for the entire day, from the moment you wake up and need the energy and positive mindset to help you start the morning, to night-time practices that allow you to wind down, relax and get the most benefit from the healing power of sleep. In between there are numerous breathing exercises, mindfulness techniques, yoga stretches and simple recipes to enjoy, all to help you destress and reset, bringing you back to yourself and to lasting peace and happiness.
