Event T&C’s

CONTRACT
When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept these booking conditions on behalf of yourself and/or your party. No contract shall exist until the completed booking form is submitted and either full payment for the event / retreat / course has been made (Full Payment) or a non refundable deposit of 50% of the full amount (the Deposit) has been made.

PAYMENT
Where only the Deposit is paid at the time of submitting the booking form, the balance due must be paid 28 working days before the retreat commences. Failure to do so may result in &Sister exercising their right to cancel your booking(s) and to charge the applicable cancellation charges set out below (see Cancellation).

CANCELLATION BY YOU
Cancellation before the course commences will result in the loss of 100% of any payments (unless your space is filled by someone).

Each attendee cancellation is looked at on a case by case basis, and where possible a refund will be given.

Though our retreat spaces are limited, we will review the circumstances of cancellations on a case by case basis. If a replacement booking is secured for a late cancellation all monies paid will be returned to you, save the deposit, regardless of when the cancellation is made. However, if a replacement is not found, the charges above will be applied. Cancellation of your retreat, for whatever reason, should be notified to us by email and receipt must be confirmed by the event organisers.

CANCELLATION BY EVENT ORGANISERS
We reserve the right to cancel a retreat up to 14 days before the date of the retreat. For example, if the minimum number of guests required for a particular retreat is not reached, we may have to cancel it. In this event we will inform you as soon as possible and you will have the choice of receiving a full refund of all monies paid by you or accepting an offer of an alternative &Sister retreat of a comparable standard from us, if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value). This would exclude independent travel arrangements. We will not cancel your retreat within 14 days of the date of the retreat unless either compelled to do so by reasons of force majeure or if you have not paid the final balance of your retreat in accordance with these terms and conditions.

PROGRAMME CHANGES
It is unlikely that we will have to make changes to your retreat as we do plan our retreats many months in advance. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. We may modify the list of activities (e.g. yoga) and facilities (e.g. walks, treatments, pool access) included in the retreat.

At the time of going to press with our marketing materials for the event / retreat / course, all the programmes listed will have been confirmed by the yoga teacher. If, for any reason, a yoga teacher specified becomes unavailable, (for ill health for example), we shall do our utmost to find a yoga teacher of similar qualification and experience and if this is not possible then a refund will be offered to you. Wherever possible you will be advised in advance of any significant programme alterations.

FORCE MAJEURE
We regret that we cannot accept liability or pay you compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or in anyway affected by force majeure. This means that we will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change your course in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. In these booking conditions force majeure will include (but shall not be limited to) war, threat of war, riot, civil or political unrest, industrial dispute, terrorist activity threatened or actual in its consequences, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of ports or airports, air traffic control delays, technical problems of transport or other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

LIABILTY
The event organisers do not accept liability for theft or damage to personal possessions; personal injuries or medical conditions that develop during or after the retreat; or any costs, cancellations or changes incurred as a result of fire, natural disaster, war or threat of war, industrial action, technical problems with transport, airport closure or any other events beyond our control.

The event organisers do not accept any liability for any injury to the guest in their use of their facilities or participation in activities promoted or organised by the event organisers beyond what is covered by our own public liability insurance. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to ensure that he/she has adequate personal insurance cover in respect of physical injury and other medical risk(s).
